Part 1 Consciousness Emergent?
Consciousness is based on awareness aka otherness ergo twoness, however, the aware-ness does not exist without a line-of-relationship between the two-ness.  Ex O----O is a three-ness.  A geodesic pattern is another option for the line-of-relationship. (O)(  )(  )(  )(O)

A fourth aspect can also be considered, and that is the eternally existnent, environmental background against which the three-ness exists.  Three-ness { 3 } is structural integrity and four-ness{ 4 } is systemic integrity.

Mathematically they add to a seven-ness { 7p }. 7p includes, 2p, 3p, 5p and 7p primes.  Four-ness inherently invokes a nuclear aspect to a 2D area of triangulated three-ness. An a subdivision of that triangulation.

This  subdivision is birds-eye-view of the minimal, 3D polyhedron of Universe, tetra{4}hedron.

Part 2 Consciousness Emergent?

Next we could consider a primary motion most humans are familiar with, and that is of **spin**.  Spin the 2D triangle plane around in direction to get an area of circle, since the the three vertexes. three outer chords and three inside-the-triangle radii and nuclear vertex fill the circle as a 2D area.

Note: we could invoke a some part of a holographic surface event horizon of black hole with this graphic in that, it would be a 2D { flattened } 3D tetrahedron on surface event horizon of black hole.

However, if a the black hole is spherical, the the above  graphic as area circle would be a warped 2D plane, ergo a cone aka a spire.

As Euclidean tetrahedron also a Euclidean cone/spire.

In both cases the warped 2D plane --Euclidean or other--  the nuclear/central vertex, if considered to have another primary motion of inside-outing, then the nuclear vertex could be imagined to be oscillating between both sides of the abstract 2D, non-warped plane. Inside-out and outside-out.

Now we have invoked two primary motions. That of spin and inside-outing and then back to outside-out.

If your not familiar with inside-out and outside, imagine a glove on your hand as outside-out as is supposed to be worn, then we take it off some times the it inside-outs itself as we remove it from our hand.

With these two motions, we have created and bilateral oscillation and we could consider that as being an aspect of our our brains --especially womens brains--  of action between the two hemi-spheres via the corpus callosum between the hemi-spheres.

This brings me back to the 2p, 3p, 5p, 7p set of four, that, could be said to inherently included 4 and 6 if not also 1. If we do that, then we have 7 vertexial actors on within our environmental background/stage for performance as minimal next phase of more complex consciousness.

5 vertexes defines a non-truncated, triangular based dipyramid having 5 vertexial events and 9 { surface only } lines-of-relationship.

Part 3 Consciousness Emergent?
..
The Wolfram unfolded graphic shows 13 lines-of-relationship{ LoR's }.

The formula for five vertexes is, 5^2 = 25, minus 5 = 20, divided by 2 = 10 LoR's.

The 10th LoR is the between the the two diametrically opposite ends of the presented di-pyramid, ergo an inside-the-di-pyramid --Euclideian or other-- LoR.

The wolfram pattern presents an internal set of 5 LoR's.  My way presenting 2D pattern for the this 10 LoR's is as follows.

....2p........4...............outer
-
1......................5p......outer with internal LoRelationship 1----5p
-
.........3p..................... outer

However, if we go back to my comments of invoking 7 vertexial events, then we could imagine various patterns with 7 vertexes. H,mm 🧐

.....2p........4............6...........................................outer
-
1.....................................7p.................................outer and 21 surface chords and 6 internal LoR's
-
..........3p...........5p...........................................outer

This would be di-pyramid with a mid-girth pentagon { 2p...3p...4...5p....6 } or circle  --we may not want to loose site of our original  2D space as spun as a **occupied space**{?} area  warped as a spire/cone, that, now became 6 triangle surfaces and now here above, becomes 10 triangle areas and,

7^2 =   49, minus 7 = 42, divided by 2 = 21 LoR's. Minus the 15 surface chords leaves six internal LoR's if Ive correctly identified the whole set.

Via spin and inside-outing oscillation we arrived at less complex and slightly more complex the pentagon { mid-girth pentagon or as circle area above } three, horizontal line patterns as an  increasing complex set, as consciousness.

Consciousness is made of two parts:
1. Ability to sense environment and produce knowledge which replicates it. That knowledge is usually smaller and reduced version of reality.
2. Ability to store and save said knowledge.

Some also add ability to feel emotions, pain, and ability of expression, response and decision making to the meaning of consciousness.

2. Ability to store and save said knowledge.

My approach presented was from simple > to > complex, and that only takes into the topic with question mark, consciousness emergent{?}, within an eternally existent Universe.
The environment of otherness for the one-ness { O } was two-ness aka otherness as and occupied space somethingness.

If we only had the one-ness as finite occupied space Universe, then background environment that embraces/surrounds is truly non-occupied space, and that does not count  for being awareness via other-ness.  Only O---O is twoness plus the line-of-relationship as Gravity or EMRadiation etc.

As for your #2, consider that Universe is eternally existent ---naught is lost nor created, only transformed--- ergo, I would invoke and old saying, ..what goes around comes around...

There is always and eternally a finite set of inviolate physical laws and cosmic principles, ergo, what can  and does exist now, will exist again, once we consider eternally what can occur and re-occur, given enough time, if not Universal memory, then just logically, common sense critical thinking can tell us.  What goes around will eventually come around again. Simple. Yes?

Do you hold position that consciousness of a person cannot be permanently lost, but that it always appears again somewhere, even after person dies?

Well, the phrase "not that unique" is a contradiction in terms.

Something is either unique or not.

It can't be sort of unique almost but not quite just a little bit marginally similar but not that much so as to make it not quite special enough but sort of different though inconclusively unspectacular  but reasonably extraordinary in an indifferent sort of way type thing almost.

I hold strictly to my previous position, that in an eternally existent, finite, occupied space Universe, the limits of what can exist, what goes around, will come around again, and again, and again....etc.

That includes the consciousness we each --ergo all of us, animals, plants, fungi etc---  experiencing together now,  will eternally repeat itself.  Would we call that memory. I dont know.

Maybe there exist other aspects of Universe some would label memory.   Ex a photon is a bosonic force quanta that primarily --if not solely--- interacts between electrons { fermionic matter }

So every fermionic matter particles of a specific type --ex hadrons { 3 quarks }, neutrinoes, quarks---   have bosonic forces as inter-actions between them.    Is that memory, I dunno.

Something is either unique or not

Each type of animal species have developed one or more unique or special aspects/qualities.

Humans unique speciality is the ability generalize their enviroment via their unique access to Meta-space mind/intellect/concepts and ego to much greater degree than other animals.

It is this ability to generalize that leads to:

1} objectively harvesting of wider set of information in more generalized ways,

2} sort the information into wider set of catagories,

3} winnow out patterns and principles,

4} subjectively applying those learned patterns and principles with technology to advance their standard of living-ry and weaponry, in potential support of the integrity of ecological environment if not the Universe.  ..Parphrasing Bucky Fuller with those latter four comments 1 - 4.

There are 21.6 sextillion planets in the Universe. There is only human life on one planet. I guess humans are unique.

Are you positive, maybe you should count again just to be sure.

There is only human life on one planet. I guess humans are unique.
How do you know this?

So far, we have found intelligent (human) life on 100% of the planets observed, how did you extrapolate that out to only 1.

Knowledge is what we know.

So we only know that there is human life on one planet.

Other than that.

It's 21.599999999 recurring, so I guess that FLRW was just rounding up.

Though I'm guessing also that 22 stars just went supernova destroying 72 planets, 3 humanoid civilisations and 14 billion non-humanoid species.

Out of those 14billion species, 2 were intelligent non-humanoid.

One of which escaped and was heading this way.

They can be identified by their peculiar hairstyle, orange skin colour, delicate hands and mushroom like appendages.

Approach with caution.

Because I graduated from Harvard and MIT. The chance of life forming randomly is 1/21.6 sextillion.
