Greetings DebateArt!

Today is the first stage of the Hall of Fame process.
This stage will last from now until March 10th, at ~11:00 A.M EST

A few reminders:
  • Mass PM threads, campaigning, and coordinating votes are prohibited. If any votes are found to be coordinated, the votes will be nullified.
  • You may vote for anyone and anything you like, but do note that moderation reserves the right to veto options (such as if it's done for trolling).
  • Self voting is allowed, but please be aware that it may backfire.

For the nomination stage, you may nominate up to 3 users, 3 debates, and 3 miscellaneous (formerly just threads, now anything you'd like be it threads or otherwise) to be put into the Hall of Fame!
You may change your votes (within reason) any time before nominations close.

The most popular nominees from each shall advance to the voting stage.

If voting is overwhelming in favor of certain nominees, they may skip the next phase of voting and be immediately placed into the Hall of Fame.

I am going to start the process by nominating my 3 users who I believe should be in the Hall of Fame

I don't need an explanation. He should've been in last year if we had more people vote in the process. I feel like it's a necesity 

Savant
Savant has been on the site for about 2 years and has acclaimed an unbeaten record while taking down a bunch of the top debaters on the site. He has an impressive resume and is also extremely active in the forum world as well, playing in mafia and contributing to the latest topics on the site. Might be a bit premature but I think it would be fair to give him a spot

Dr. Franklin
I feel like the doctor has definetly warranted himself a nomination for the Hall of Fame. He's still an active user on the site that has a pretty solid debating resume while also having over 10k posts. His quality has definetly improved since when people knew and I think someone who's so active and has stuck around should get the credit they deserve

Mall takes the time to extend the community beyond just the walls of this website so it is more resilient and everyone else should be doing some occasional YouTube videos or blog posts and expanding the sites footprint as well. Not merely to attract people here but so we aren't reliant on here because the real here is each other.

Longtime user. Part of the 10k club. Right now, probably the best mafia player on the site. Probably the best setup creator as well. Has dabbled in just about everything on the site, mostly politics if it’s outside of mafia.

Lunatic

Another one of the better mafia players and setup creators. Has been a consistent member of this community for over 15 years. Like Pie, will dabble in a few other things on the site from time to time.

Novice_II

Some people may have forgotten about him, but I haven’t. While not super active these days, he still picks up debates from time to time and remains the biggest challenger to Oromagi’s throne. As a debater, super underrated. People like to complain about how he’s farmed some lower-tier debaters, but when he goes up against another titan, he’s proven he can hang with the best of em, including a 1-1 record against Oromagi. Has posted a little in the forums.

US Governors Mafia… Mostly for  the epic prank at the end, which I suspect is the best done prank we’ve had in our limited history of that game.

It was better when it occurred, because edited posts were marked as such; which should have clued everyone in that something wasn’t right with the suddenly overpowered mafia roles.
