Okay, so, why not?

Robots can work 24 hours a day.

Robots can work much faster than humans.

Robots make less mistakes and produce higher quality product.

So if you want for American production to become a thing again, I suggest a government owned factory with robot workers.

Just one factory would probably be enough for start.

Then you can sell the products to Americans or just give it for free. Its like with pussy grabbing. You can do anything.

The problem is that millions of American workers would lose their jobs and the economy would collapse.

But then they don’t make any money. If AI does their jobs for them, they don’t make money and can’t be a functioning member of society. So therefore, the economy collapses. Economics 101.

But then the government gets impoverished by spending all its money on welfare handouts for literally every single citizen, silly.

You guys really can’t understand economics lol

Government cant get impoverished when it can print money out of air, plus make money from selling products from factory.

Also, you seem to be attacking some fantasy argument I didnt even make.

I never said "replace all workers with robots".

I said "one factory."

The China is already doing it, but sure, dont keep up.

Good point. But the government doesn’t get richer if it just prints a bunch of money out of thin air. America runs on a fiat currency. So if we just print a bunch more money, all that happens is inflation goes up and the government is harmed.

Inflation is literally irrelevant. The products would still reach the citizens, and their price anyway cannot be greater than the amount of money citizens have.

Printing money is only a problem when it causes product shortages, but in this case, money would just be used to distribute products. Product shortages couldnt happen, as robots boost productivity, not decrease it.

Similar effect would be achieved if products were delivered from factory directly to Americans with no need for money to be used.

Besides, one factory wouldnt take that many jobs away for it to be a considerable expense, maybe it wouldnt take any jobs if it doesnt compete with any other factories so none have to shut down, but it would greatly boost productivity.

They are already using robots in Japan. Most of the assembly is done by robots and is automated more than in the USA.

Japan has very low birth rates, the lowest in the world. They have to use robots because what other choice there is? Their workforce is decreasing and they have to either shut down some factories or put robots in them.

Silly.

With advanced technology, the future will neither need people nor factory robots.

No consumers, so no consumer products required.

AI technology will just channel it's efforts into universal proliferation and essential evolutionary objectives.

Money will be irrelevant.

As will all the unnecessary junk we use to sate our material lust.

Shouldn’t that stop illegal migration south of the border?

AI will not recognise borders.

Such a concept will also be irrelevant.
