Eliminated Day 1:
What a fool believes, he sees

This was the eighth studio album released by the Doobie Brothers, coming out in 1978. The album received massive recognition and contained the band's most popular song, "What a Fool Believes." Less known, however, is the titular song of the album, which describes holding onto something that maybe shouldn't be held onto. Because of this, you are the Town Treestump.

Your goal is to eliminate all Mafia-aligned players and any other players who wish to see the Town lose.

You have the following abilities:

I'll Keep Holding On (Passive): If you are killed during the Night, you will not fully die until the end of the following Day. You will be unable to vote or use any Day actions, but you will be allowed to post as much as you want. You can be voted as the Day elimination in this state. Your death will not be revealed, nor will your role be flipped, until the Day ends.

Casey

This 1994 album, released by the Nine Inch Nails, reflects, well, a downward spiral. The mentality of the "main character" of the album gets worse and worse throughout, eventually ending in his suicide. He suffers from increasingly harmful delusions. As a result, you are the Town Nightmarish God.

Your goal is to eliminate all Mafia-aligned players and any other players who wish to see the Town lose.

You have the following abilities:

Delusions (Compulsive, 6-shot): You must choose one of the following actions and a target each Night. Each action may only be used once, and you will be informed what each action did afterward.
- I am the hate you try to hide
- I am the silencing machine
- I am the lover in your bed
- I give you all you need to know
- I am the truth from which you run
- I am denial, guilt and fear

The Day phase will last until 7:40 PM Eastern Time on December 6th, or a little over 72 hours from this post. The Day will end early if a player is eliminated with a majority vote.

The role is Miller but I have a 1x neighboring with it as well. I used the neighboring on Casey as inconvenient as that is. 

I legit thought she was scum and I thought if I neighboring her she as scum might be a bit naive so I was planning to make up some lie about being secret scum to get her to confess, but apparently not only was I wrong about her being scum but extremely wrong as she came across as so towny the scum team had her eliminated

So when you said you were the opposite of the opposite of the Miller, you meant you were just the Miller? Why phrase it that way?

While we’re at it, what do you mean by neighboring? Was this a Neighborizer role where you could recruit people to a private chat?

Dad humor.  I never thought it would happen to me but it did.

Yes. it autocorrected to neighboring but I meant neighborize.  It is 1x and I used it on Casey because I thought she was scum and I could trick her into confessing in a PM. I was considering pie but started to townread him a bit near the end and also know he is often the dp1 target of scum. I am regret g my choice now though

I know it is exciting when you think you caught scum but I wouldn't lead with your results first thing. 

You are now safely in the town pile but, you did give away that you are just 1 of 2 roles and did t give somebody time to lie. 

I was going to out my actions last NP, probably. However it's better to see if somebody lies first.

The latter I think had to do with the romance portion. 

Let's see. He said the album was full of romance and paranoia. 

I disagree. Maybe the Miller aspect is related to paranoia and the romance element to the neighborize part of the role. 

There was was a lot of romantic songs. If I remember correctly PYT, Liberian Girl, I have to go through it again.

So I had thought scum was between Casey, lunatic and earth.

I also thought that of those three Casey was the most Naive and I could tell her some bullshit like I was secret scum and see if she would out herself to me. Lunatic and earth would just immediately dismiss the gambit
