You should probably only claim if you're 100% going to get lynched, at least then even if you get nightkilled via anticlaim then you're dying anyway and town can use the lynch on someone who's actually scum.
What does anticlaim have to do with an NK?

Generally, the mafia team submits a post containing a claim, and depending on the setup and the degree of information (role info almost always counts for more than character or flavor info), the player who gets "anticlaimed" can be:-rolecopped-roleblocked (most common, usually for partial claims)-killed (pretty common way to punish full claims)-strongman killed (less common, usually in role madness games with lots of town protective roles)
I think I get what Wylted is saying.
I do not want to lynch him today, I think what he's going for is simply a bad play as scum and is not playing for his own survival.

It's one of the most common ways for mods to implement anticlaim that I've seen elsewhere. Fwiw I think it's less likely here since it'd be considered borderline bastard on DART, so maybe one of the less severe penalties instead.

I still prefer GP tbh, but I'm fine with an Earth lynch. Whiteflame leans town for me, but that's mostly just vibes. I'll vote for whoever if it comes down to the wire.

Alright, took me a bit, but I’m caught up.
I don’t really get WyIted’s claim. It seems really weird to keep saying it this way, though I guess his intention is to strongly suggest and hope scum doesn’t get it. It’s a roundabout way to do it, but it’s also not what I’d expect from him as scum, I just don’t really know what to do with it. Regardless, whatever it is, it appears to affect investigations in some fashion, and my gutread on the claim is that it’s townie.
It really is between Greyparrot and Wylted for me at this point.
I still don’t like how it took Greyparrot so long to give out details when he claimed from the start. I get being stubborn to Whiteflame, but I don’t know why he was so hesitant to tell me stuff, considering he voted with me on Wylted.
I also don’t get why he felt the need to tell us why he chose his album… it’s not super relevant. The Doobie Brothers sounds like a Greyparrot type of choice, but that doesn’t indicate his alignment. He could easily be scum and giving a different role for his character… it’s also kinda weird that a Tree Stump wouldn’t have everything confirmed unless the mod wants to cast suspicion around a possible mafia tree stump… but that feels like balancing more than actually making a mafia tree stump.
And according to Greyparrot now, he might not even be one, because he might not die. Maybe Cerulean has the wrong name. I kinda felt I was the reason for what Cerulean claimed in the OP, but maybe I’m not the only one.
Someone help me sort through this.

As for pushing me on the lynch because I’m passive, all I can say is the same things that you’ve already heard. I get that it was in response to some sussing from GP, but I pushed him without a wagon, which isn’t something I do as scum in any game I can remember.
That being said, I’ll claim if enough people push me. Limiting claims is a given this game based on the OP, but if it’s to prevent a mislynch, I’ll do what I have to do.

They’re both pretty behaviorally sus to me. Weird to say that, though I understand WyIted’s claim less, I’m leaning towards GP as the lynch still at this point. Just the lack of responsiveness and weird pushback doesn’t make a lot of sense, and I’m not sure what to make of his shift to townreading me.
My position on WyIted is more over what he’s hinting at than anything else. Maybe I’m basing this too much on the plausible existence of an investigative role, but at least his role seems to rely on something else being in the game.
You know what? When Wylted said Austin shouldn’t be pushing for his claim, he may have been dropping a hint to Austin that he really didn’t want to claim and was doing something.
I think claiming miller or anything similar would be really stupid as scum. I know Pie says Wylted is bad at claiming, but he can’t possibly be that bad.
The other side of the coin is that Wylted would know there’s no miller and it’d be safe, since no one SOP claimed it.
But then why be so hesitant to claim while pressure was on him? He caved once Austin told him to, but the fact that he had pressure on him and did t want to claim tells me he knew claiming what he did would look bad and wanted to avoid it… but that would mean he actually has the role he’s claiming.
