I think this was a scumsided game, and I nerfed WF a bit too much. WF asked me to LD if Barney was Jr. Troopa, a Dreaming God, and I debated in my mind if I should allow that, but decided against it. I do give major props to Skipper and he was able to prevent mafia from winning before Day 3 would even start.

Mario - Godfather
You are Mario! Mario is a well liked hero of the Mushroom Kingdom who time and again saved Peach from evil. Mario is well regarded by the general population and they can deeply trust him. Due to the positive reputation Mario has built in the Kingdom, you are the Godfather. Any investigative action (including movement based actions, which will result in a no movement result) taken against you will result in a town reading. You win with the Mafia.

Barney/JoeBob
You are Peach! Peach is the beloved Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom. Although she gets kidnapped often, Peach doesn’t wait to be rescued and does all she can to help herself and Mario. Among her abilities is her ability to bake cakes. Therefore, you are the Dreaming God! Once a night, you may give a town player a cake of your choosing. They are,

1x Rum Cake (roleblock)
1x Coffee Cake (randomizes targets actions) 
1x Crunchy Walnut Cake (reports action to mafia)
1x Election Cake (prevents target from voting)

You win with the Mafia.

Bowser - Mharman
You are Bowser! Shortly before the beginning of the game, you sneak into Star Haven and steal the magical Star Rod. The Star Rod gives you powerful magical abilities and makes you all but invincible. Due to all the abilities the Star Rod gives you, you are the JOAT (1x Cop, 1x Doctor, 1x Tracker). Every night, you may pick one of your abilities to use. You win with the Town.

Kammy Koopa -
Lunatic
You are Kammy Koopa! Kammy Koopa is Bowser’s second in command and is a feared elderly Magikoopa. You routinely report to Bowser and coordinate with your minions to achieve your goals. Therefore, you are the Watcher! Every night you may pick a player to watch and learn who had visited them that night, if any. You win with the Town.

Night 1 Watches Pie, action failed
Night 2 Watches Casey, no one visited

Tubba Blubba -
Casey
You are Tubba Blubba! Tubba Blubba is known for supposedly being invincible, however, this is because his heart is hidden inside a windmill. If your heart and the rest of your body are reunited, you are actually quite the pushover despite your appearance. Therefore, you are the Hated Townie. It takes one less vote to lynch you. You win with the Town. 


General Guy -
Wylted
You are General Guy! General Guy is the head of the Shy Guys in their Toy Box charged with keeping their Star Sprite in their custody. You are in charge of a number of Shy Guys, and they are at your command. Additionally, you man a toy battle tank. Due to how durable your tank is, you are the Ascetic! You are immune to all non-lethal night actions. You win with the Town.

Buzzar -
WF
You are Buzzar! Buzzar is a large vulture-like creature that watches the path to Dry Dry Desert. You have a habit of forcibly questioning everyone who passes your path on their identity. However, you are somewhat easily fooled. Therefore, you are the 2x Lie Detector. During the night, you may send me a statement made by a player and I will tell you if it was a lie or not. You MAY NOT submit any statement such as “I win with the town” or anything of the sort. I reserve the right to ask you to resubmit any statement, and I will say “I don’t know” if it is not possible to objectively say if something was a lie or not. You win with the Town.

Asked Night 1 “Alright, I asked and apparently it does deactivate at MYLO/LYLO.”” - Truth
Killed Night 1

Huff N. Puff - Skipper
You are Huff N. Puff! Huff N. Puff is the leader of a gang of Ruff Puffs keeping Flower Fields cloudy and permanently overcast by his cloud making machine. Overseeing your efforts in the clouds, you block the sun from rising into the sky. Therefore, you are the 2x Jailkeeper! Every night, you can target a player and protect them from any lethal actions and also roleblock them from committing any actions. You win with the Town.

Night 2 targets JoeBob

The Master -
Cerulean
You are The Master! The master of a dojo in Toads Town, you offer optional fights and train your apprentices. Your final form is one of the most challenging fight in the game. Given that you are optional and how hard you are to fight (at least relatively), you are the 2x Commuter Survivor! Every night, you have the option to leave town and are unable to be targeted by any night actions for that night. You win with yourself when either Town or Mafia accomplish their win condition. Note, You DO NOT joint win.

I did probably make did this way too scum sided and I think from now on I won't make any Ninja Godfathers. I think Town still had a chance to win, but it would be hard and I think Casey would be able to sus out Joe or Pie enough to mount a lynch on at least one of them. Skipper picked what was probably the game saving move only for it to fail, but I think he did well.

Wow, there really were three role-failing abilities in play.

I honestly thought the balance was fine. Mharman just threw. JK is counter to my role. Dreaming God has built in counter and can be tracked/watched.

Well, not much to say tbh. Like Earth said, pretty OP scum on this, but I was pretty surprised to be the first NK. I guess that was mainly because I was being townread by most people at that point, just a shame I never got to give my results (even without the result on Barney's claim, I would've hard sussed him for the Dream God claim with Mharman's flip, and I also received confirmation that Casey's role was accurate). Oh well, nice try guys.

(Day 1, before I figured out the theme split)
You are Lady Bow! You are the mistress of Boo's Mansion with a group of loyal Boos behind you. After using a Star Spirit as leverage to get Mario's assistance with a pressing issue, you join him to help rescue Princess Peach. Because one of your main abilities is to make both Mario and yourself transparent, you are the 2x Commuter. Two times during the game, you have the option to hide and will become unable to be targeted by any night actions for that night. You win with the Town.

I had Lava Piranha and 1x BP pegged as a possible role townies could have. I would’ve fake claimed that but it was too risky, so I just went with Goomba King and Vanilla

It does kind of make sense in terms of the nightkill. Pie and Barney were Mafia. I was scumread. Lunatic could have been protected. Casey was a weak "PR." Skipper was an easy mislynch to swing. So it really seems like it would have come down to WyIted or WF.

You were implying that my “it” (my early DP1 paranoia, a habit of mine) was incorrect, indicating you had some undisclosed knowledge.

You honestly did great for your first time. My advice would be to list out your reads as much as possible. Who do you think is town and why. Who do you think is scum and why.

In retrospect, we really should have lynched BarJoe DP2. They were *so* scummy, and I feel a bit dumb for so easily being pulled away from their wagon, and a bit guilty for not checking first whether I'd be putting Cerulean at L-1.

I'm not sure whether I would have voted for Skipper or not. I kept going back and forth on him, unsure whether his noobslips were genuine or fake. The balance also seemed off, as everyone else has already noted. Hey, at least I'm not the only one who accidentally made an overly scumsided game for their third time hosting on here. 

Anyway, like I said, I didn't like Pie's Vanilla claim. I also didn't like how he suddenly flip-flopped on Skipper, going from saying how he was obviously noob town to saying how he was obviously mafia. He also seemed to read me inconsistently, suddenly saying that I deserved the win if I was scum for fakeclaiming Hated, which felt like it came out of nowhere. 

As for JoeBar, I never once had a reason to townread them. So, if I had though it through more, I might have been able to solve the game.

I stand by what I said when I say you are one of the better noobs I've seen. Despite how weird your DP1 was, I felt you did much better in DP3.

My only advice is to give out your thoughts clearly, and don't be afraid to give your reasons for sussing others. Do not overstate your case! However, be sure to have some introspective- evaluate your own reasoning before posting it. There are also times when you think of the logical consequences of you being wrong- too often we get tunnel vision and need to experiment with other perspectives entirely in order to realize it!

I'll give you examples from my own gameplay:

In this game, I made a very bad push on Cerulean. I was somewhat correct- Cerulean did not have a town motive and was acting non-committal in their sus of me. But I didn't need to give out some sort of bajillion IQ master plan idea that Cerulean might have.

I should have started with this...


... instead of overstating my case and having to clarify it like this later. As a result of me overstating my case, it looked stupid (it was, but only because I went too deep) and everyone was pushed off it- including me.

In Clash of Clans Mafia, I had a tunnel vision on Pie late in DP1. It resulted in a mislynch. If I (or Savant) had considered alternative ideas or candidates, this mislynch would not have happened.

With this post in Bo Burnham Mafia, I was able to avoid pushing for a mislynch by asking myself, "what if my current scumread isn't town?" This resulted in me catching Whiteflame outright, and helping Pie with the Banana catch, as he was beginning to let Banana off the hook. I died NP1 having set town up for a relatively free win.
