On Saturday, 6-year-old Muslim American child Wadea Al-Fayoume was savagely murdered and his mother brutally stabbed by a 71 year-old, white Trump loving man who was radicalized by right wing media and GOP politicians. Yet not only has Trump not denounced this latest act of MAGA terrorism on US soil, he used his speech just two days later in Iowa to incite more hate of Muslims.

I find it very weird that he explicitly fingered Biden and the garbage statement.

If somebody stabbed a black guy and said it was because Trump said "they're poisoning the blood of our country" explicitly straight to the police, I would suspect a false flag.

Is it possible that somebody bribed this guy?

lol, I heard his voice; didn't sound american. Maybe he really did just believe the first thing he heard and was like "time to save the world from the racists".

I'm just mocking the psuedo-geniuses on this site who believe in the concept of an archetypical "high-information-voter"

Here Denzel exposes and roundly mocks the idea of a "high-information-voter"

This is another great clip:
"If you don't read the newspaper, you are uninformed.
If you do read it you're misinformed"

Denzel Washington feels that the overwhelming flow of information, or "the high-information-voter" in today’s media environment is not necessarily a good thing. He points out that the constant barrage of opinions, rather than straightforward news, creates confusion and leads to polarization and mean-spiritedness. Instead of being enlightened, people are bombarded with narratives and conflicting viewpoints, which make it impossible to make clear decisions if this is the only source of information.

Denzel believes that the need to be first with information, rather than accurate, has become the priority in media. This has led to a situation where news is no longer just about facts, but about quick headlines and misleading opinions that may not even be true or sourced correctly. The rush to get information out there has made it more about speed and sensationalism, often at the expense of truth originating mostly from disconnected central suppliers of information.

Denzel warns us all that too much information, especially when it’s designed to provoke strong emotional reactions, will make people more cynical and mean-spirited. This isn't about "low-information" or "high-information" This is about information saturation. He wants us to step back and think about how this constant exposure to information affects us personally and socially, encouraging us to question whether we’re truly benefiting from all this “information” or if it’s just making us more divided. His question to us is simple: "What is all this information DOING to us?"

Isolated incident.  I don't care if the guy was stabbed because he's a stranger to me with no power (it would be the same if a MAGA trailer park guy stabbed a BLM activist).

You only care because it happened to a guy whose political views you agree with.  If a MAGA guy stabbed a BLM activist, then you wouldn't care.

That's the difference between you and me; I'm principled; you're partisan.

There's literally millions of "high-information" people out there. You are one of them.

You only care because it happened to a guy whose political views you agree with.
One side has far more "high-information" followers than the other. Objectively.

Truth comes from reason and reason alone, but reason is a process.

The input to logic are statements, the output is a statement.

As a matter of epistemological fact, a man or woman can never be enlightened with statements alone, they must be able and willing to use logic on the assertions they encounter and the perceptions they experience.

One of the first conclusions logic gives those in modern times who use it is this: Don't trust an assertion just because you see it appear from many so called authoritative sources. In fact simultaneous assertion is a sign of a conspiracy to deceive rather than investigation or research.

I would say we have the media and government we deserve, but the fact is that misguided and evil people failed to educate children with philosophy; and you can't blame children who were never taught any better.

"We focus on teaching children the 'science of race' (DEI) instead of natural philosophy. We promote gender transition procedures before discussing the biology of natural hormone development. We prioritize global perspectives before instilling an understanding of foundational American values and history rooted in natural rights"
