Social life is one of the biggest things in life. There have been recent studies showing that the Prefontal Cortex, Amygalda, and Nucleus are all affected with a positive social life.
Studies show the nucleus of the brain produces emotions that can be triggered by social media and social life. If you hang out a lot and do a lot of things, your likelyhood of messing up the Amygalda to trigger a mental disease is lowered. When you feel lonely or empty, Prefrontal Cortex goes into a fight or flight, where you fly away causing the Amygalda to get triggered and cause things to get triggered like depression and the nucleus all reacts to this or gets shut down.
This is to show that a positive social affects your brain. So what are you doing? Get off the computer
