All the differentiated, occupied space parts, are connected at minimum by Gravity { mass-attraction } if not also Dark Energy.
So if all connected means all is one then yes I agree with you Zed.
Eternally existent, finite, occupied space Universe, wherein, we find differentiation connected as a whole ergo Universe is exists as an integral whole set of inter-connect parts.
Meta-space, categorical distinctions by humans are used to reference these distinct differentiation within occupied space Universe

And then there exists the degree to which an occupied space can be classified/catagorized this way, that way, or another way, because of the overlap of commonalities, yet distinct differrences.
A torus is whole integral, and it has positive and negative aspects, as well as defining a cylindrical tube, that defines a hole/portal/opening of infinite space --finite occupied space and truly infinte non-occupied space--- outside of the torus ( tube ) hole ( tube ), that, has surface events and internal events.
