Illinois is a blue state, they never have hurricanes, think about it, why does red state Florida have so many hurricanes and blue state Illinois doesn't have any?
Ohio doesn't have hurricanes either. North Carolina got a very bad one in Asheville.
When a hurricane impacts a red area, the conspiracy theory is, "The democrats are going after republicans".
When a hurricane impacts a blue area, the conspiracy theory is, "GOD is punishing the democrats".
How about, "Areas on the east coast (whether NY or FL) tend to get hurricanes and it's more common in warmer areas along the east coast"?
