There is a few debate topics I might be interested in participating in. The list is as follows:

  1. Does the Bible claim Jesus is God?
  2. Is the Bible a reliable source?
  3. Establishing the trinity
  4. Is the idea of purgatory mentioned in the Bible?

I'm curious to know what the people on this website want to see for a debate. Drop down some suggestions that I can consider.

Is the Bible a reliable source?
I feel like this one would have many atheists interested. I feel its crucial topic for God's existence.

Still, if it is probability argument, I would say atheists will most likely only rely on Bible's contradictions.

There is not enough strong historical evidence from about 6000 to 2000 years ago to disprove Bible's descriptions.

I'd be interested in debating the topic "The Christian doctrine of Atonement is ethically tenable" with you if you'd be interested in that. (I'd be Con of course)

I've come up with a few more debate topics. Here are the additions:

1. St. Mary, the Mother of God. (Something related to the doctrines about her)
2. Explaining evil in the world
3. Is the Trinity logically coherent?
4. The duality seen within the natures of Jesus are not contrary or self-refuting.
5. Anything relating to the Seven Sacraments.

I'd love suggestions and criticism. I also invite any challengers who may want to engage in a debate to send me a PM.
