Tell that to the people who can’t afford to run their air conditioner.

Trumps plan is to drill baby drill. That will exacerbate global warming and slow the transition to renewable energy.

Coal shouldn’t be subsidized to keep it viable anymore than kerosene or whale oil. It is an obsolete energy source.

But Republicans say otherwise

Tell that to the people who can’t afford to run their air conditioner.
1.) Say the globe is warming, claim that it might already be 0.5C warmer on average compared to your grandma.
2.) Gut and attack any attempt at generating power until energy is 10 times the cost it used to be.
3.) Tell the people who can't afford energy that they're lives suck because their grandparents had cheap energy

Something is not quite right, some kind of issue with relative scale.

“The global temperature has risen by about 2° F (1.1° C) since 1850, or an average of 0.11° F (0.06° C) per decade. The rate of warming has increased since 1982, to 0.36° F (0.20° C) per decade, which is more than three times as fast“

You can’t even get basic facts correct.

In the Information Age, ignorance is a choice. A choice Republicans are proud to make.

Something is not quite right, some kind of issue with relative scale.

I agree and it specifically  logical, common sense critical thinking humans, attempting educate the, Make America Dumb Again { MADA } humans.

I can still remmember George Bush junior changing his educational viepoint on global warming the during his presidency ie. he went from saying there is no global warming, to yes there is global warming, but not caused by humans.

So he allowed some educational truths in, because the science was so overwhelming, he didnt want to add to his personification of ' being a dumb ass president '.  Remember him walking into wall thinking it was a door exit.  

Those days of semi-logical, common sense critical thinking republicans like Bush, McCain has been put in trash bins in favor of the new age, Make America Dumb Again radical Republican nutters.

Climate change causes a lot more problems than just hot, sweaty weather.
Hot air evaporates a lot more water, so crops, forests and landscapes in some areas dry out, which makes them more susceptible to wildfires. Each Celsius degree of warming can cause a a sixfold increase in wildfire over parts of the western U.S.
Warming also makes ocean water expand, which can flood coastal regions. Rising sea levels threaten to displace as many as 2 billion people by 2100.
All of these impacts mean that climate change threatens the global economy. Continuing to burn coal, oil and gas could cut global incomes by about 25% by the end of the century, according to one estimate.

For the record I don't care what IWRA said because he is a defaming TDS rage puppet who has never once debated for more than 2 posts to my knowledge.

And reduction in life. Far more fossil fuel is utilized combatting hypothermia than hyperthermia. Most people still pay far more for energy in the winter. Rising costs for heating mean more deaths.

There is no doubt that any change will cause some discomfort during adaptation but the presentation of all negatives is biased. The real problem is that the hoax faithful are scientifically illiterate. In their hearts and minds the change will continue forever, they have not even considered the idea that over earth's billion year history the climate has only ever shifted between equilbria and there have been no recorded equilbria that had this planet unlivably warm. That has not been the case since the bombardment period.

On the other hand there have been multiple periods of extreme cold (apparently) and ice ages. Warmer is not only the safer weather t have but it's the safer climate equilibrium to have too.
