Your rationale to believe a scientist over a minister.

Your reasoning for believing a woman as a victim than a man .

Your bias to a "non white" stealing, committing crimes over a "white".

Your bias to a democrat over a republican .

Your hatred towards one and not another.

Your love towards one and not another.

You believing what I say versus another with a academic prestigious title that has written something.

Please explain your rationale through all of these points, your thought process, etc.

   Scientists use observable facts
and create observable proven general premises, and support what many debates are based on.

The only valid form of logic is deduction,
which creates specific conclusion from general premise obtained through logic, observation.

Without scientists, you would have no
many of the general premises which you use in debate, destroying many debates.

Let me see, do I believe Rev. Jim Bakker or Albert Einstein? I'm going with Einstein.

Smart people are much more likely to bring good decisions and even more likely to be good people.

No need, they speak of different things, non-overlapping magisteria so to speak.

Is there anything that a scientist has tested, researched, experimented and observed that you haven't?

Those things you haven't empirically verified for yourself, do believe and trust the scientists findings ?

Yes, mostly. Although when I debate, I prefer when all sources agree, even tho its rare. Majority rules.

Not all research agrees with each other. Scientists take specific cases to make general conclusions. Mistakes can happen.

It happens that general conclusion of one scientist contradicts general conclusion of the other, due to error or difference.

Its common in statistics. Smoking usually shortens life by 10 years, but different groups can have different results.

Why do you believe scientists without empirically investigating for yourself?
Because I cant empirically investigate many things. Its not even possible. Many people are necessary to gather statistics.

I see what you are saying. Please send me $500 million so I can build my own  Large Hadron Collider  so I can check the results.
I will hire B.K to work with me.

So you can't see something for yourself so you just rely on a scientist that has done it for his or herself.

Does the person have to have the title scientist or can it be anybody that has testified or can testify of it?

They have to be public statistics, you know? As in, seen and examined by lots of people... so?
