EX trump stakes, trump universtiy etc. He's driven quite a few companies into bankruptcy, including casinos. The only reason he is rich is because he started rich and because he got famous on the apprentice. And he only got onto the apprentice because the rich people who actually made money wouldn't agree to do the show so they settled for trump.

1) being born super rich
2) inheriting money from his dad
3) no skilled businessmen actually wanting to do the apprentice so they settled for trump.
4) he hires people much smarter than him to run his businesses for him.
He's driven a bunch of companies into bankruptcy, including casinos. His main sources of income have been the money he got from daddy, the company he inherited from daddy, and the grifting he did on the back of becoming famous for being on the apprentice.
