I have watched 11 episodes of Hinamatsuri, and I have watched episode 1 of A Place Further than the Universe.

Today I am very much going to finish watching Hinamatsuri episode 12. I think its a good anime with very good start, but in episode 11 the story gets a bit derailed into less interesting details somehow.

It was fun to watch, but now I need more anime.

As for A Place Further than the Universe, before I continue watching it, I want to see if there are better alternatives, as I am not sure if this anime is right for me.

You recommended me two interesting animes, so I am curious if there are any more anime like Hinamatsuri but with better story, something similar to story in World Conquest Zvezda Plot if possible.

There is not much fighting in Hinamatsuri. I enjoyed parts which described homeless life and survival, and the different personalities, but I feel like it only has fighting at start and later its just about jobs and family life.

I should be able to do that, though admittedly I don't know much about World Conquest Zvezda Plot. The recommendation I've seen that I know something about but haven't seen yet is Punch Line, which might be a good option for you. As for something similar to Hinamatsuri with a better story, highly recommend Mob Psycho 100, which gets quite a bit better in the story department and has some really solid action. If you want a series that leans more into the goof factor, The Disastrous Life of Saiki K is an easy binge watch with not a lot of story but some very easily likeable characters and some of the funniest shit I've seen in anime.

True enough. I think the aforementioned Mob Psycho 100 would definitely hit harder in the fighting department. If you like the found family baseline for the series and want some good action going on around it, Spy x Family remains a treat for me. I've also heard that Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid scratches that itch.

Dragon maid is a good anime.

I watched it before, but not until end. I also watched non non biyori long time ago.

I know about Spy x family, but I wasnt sure to watch or not it since it seemed too popular (popular things are rarely good, at least for me).

The other animes you recommended also seem interesting.

I needed an opinion from someone who watched more anime than I did. Now I have enough anime to watch for at least few months. Thank you.

I was hesitant with Spy x Family as well, but I do think it holds up. Solid comedy and action that pulls off some nice slice of life moments to boot.

Happy to do it.

MAL rankings are here.  Aggregate ratings from multiple sources are here.

Find the highest-rated show that isn't very popular (watched by a lot of people). Though it could be that the popular shows you've seen just aren't very highly rated by audiences. Vinland Saga S1 is highly rated, has a lot of fighting and has a more niche appeal, so you could try that.

I checked those links, and I did manage to find one anime that seems interesting.

karakai jouzu no takagi-san seems cute enough to watch. It took me some time to find what I like on that list because it seems that most of the top rated anime arent really my style.

Vinland saga was great. Truly told the story of the Norse which is the story of Christianity gentling a bloodthirsty people by shifting the focus of philosophy. (whoops spoilers :p)

Of course it isn't what I would call "cute"

If you want a "cute" slice of life with some action thrown in, you could try Love, Chuunibyo, and Other Delusions. It's two seasons long and a movie, and has some mech-themed OVA with sick special effects.

If you want serious, hard sci-fi with a few attractive chicks in it and a fair bit of humor, try Steins;Gate. Arguably two seasons as well, though Zero is neither a prequel nor sequel to S1. Also has a movie, which I haven't seen.

If you want "cute" but also dark and effed up, with great music to boot, try Madoka Magica. One season and an epic movie (Rebellion). And a weird sequel that probably isn't worth your time.

If you want "cute" but also literal nightmares when you go to sleep at night, play Doki Doki Literature Club or watch a YouTube playthrough of it.

I've never watched it, but the Monogatari series is hyped in many online spaces. It sounds a little degenerate to me but also straight up your alley.

If you want serious dark and edgy without the cute factor or attractive women, try Psycho;Pass.

If you want a Shounen battler, try HunterxHunter or Demon Slayer.

If you want a good isekai-style power fantasy minus any chicks, try Solo Leveling.

If you want a personal recommendation, play the Danganronpa game trilogy. All you need is to have a Nintendo Switch and visit your local GameStop. There's a three games in one bundle. Skip S1 of the anime, but you might enjoy S2 after playing the first two games. Heads up: in case you haven't heard of it, Dangaronpa is extremely violent and revolves around murder mysteries.
Danganronpa is more of a visual novel than a proper game, so you don't have to work too hard to enjoy the experience. Just go on the internet and look up a walkthrough for the Class Trials, because otherwise it's a pain in the butt.

Madoka Magica

Monogatari

Demon Slayer
Monogatari might not be right for me, but I will have to watch one episode to see.

The other two, Madoka Magica and Demon Slayer are probably much better. Thank you for mentioning them.

I am not really sure about visual novels.

I guess they can be good, and if you recommend that one, its probably good, I just am not really a huge fan of visual novels. Maybe there is entire gameplay video somewhere so I can watch it like anime.

Yeah, there is a Danganronpa gameplay on YouTube.

I wonder if they removed violent scenes since its YouTube after all.

My recommendations would be what I watched as a kid.  I don't follow anime anymore.

Funny but with action - Tenchi Muyo

More serious - Record of Lodoss War

Serious with ancient orient fighting - Princess Mononoke
