My old games, some no longer work

I remember all the games I played long time ago.

I cant remember what others were there, but these games were what made most of my early gaming experience.

I tried to install Battlefield 1942, but it no longer works because apparently some old games arent supported by new system.

Freedom Fighters works good.

I figured I need to go back to old games to re-play them because it seems to me that I enjoyed those old games in the past much more than I enjoy new ones today.

Today, most games are just graphics without any gameplay value.

There was also Gorky Zero Beyond Honor.

I never finished that game tho, so maybe now is the time, if I manage to get it working.

To Amp the story, the media keeps reporting that "shots were fired near Trump", making it sound as though someone shot AT Trump.
The truth, of course, is that no one shot at Trump. A man simply had a rifle 400 yards away. The Secret Service are the only one who shot a weapon.
One report said "Trump SURVIVED an assassination attempt"... I guess he did if no one ever shot at him.

I would rather take more gameplay content at the cost of cutting-edge graphics. But eye-candy gamers complain if shit doesn't look next gen.

My laptop has 8gb RAM. Even if I liked high graphics, I wouldnt be able to play them. But I noticed that even games which I can play, there is no guarantee that those with better graphics have better gameplay. I dont like if game is way too low in graphics, but something on the level of Smite graphics works good enough. However, gameplay is everything. I had to stop playing countless games before even finishing them because gameplay is so bad its beyond belief. Some games simply enable you to do enjoyable actions while some simply dont. Like, for me, Fable 3 is complete trash when compared to Fable 1.

Idk, sometimes I think it's just that the Fable sequels simply can't compete with Fable 1's nostalgia value... none of the subsequent Fables have really hit the same note for me. I did like Fable 2, though. Lucien, Hammer, Garth. I still remember those characters.

I just miss being a hero in the actual age of heroes, when there was a hero school and a colosseum and everything.
