I've decided to at least attempt to leave this site at least on this account. I've noticed that when I'm tired, I tend to be way more willing to talk politics than when I'm mentally alert. This wouldn't be an issue except sometimes I get tired at work, and if I start talking politics at work, then I risk getting fired; and I would rather lose this account than lose my job. I intend on still being active on my satire account because it does take a decent amount of energy to make satire (and laughter is good because everyone here knows I can say the most horrible stuff on my satire account and everyone knows it's a joke and I don't actually believe what I say there) and I don't think I can elaborately plan satire when I'm at work (plus if I said at work what I said on my satire account, I might not get hired anywhere; I might even get reported to the police). But it takes enough energy and I should indeed know my audience (which I'm working on). Like, I don't really talk politics with my family anymore even when others are talking politics because they've decided that my opinions are so horrible to them that they don't want to hear it; and I can't force people to listen to opinions they find horrible (and I think it's kindof pointless).

Lets say every single Trump supporter (or Biden supporter if you like Trump) on this website ended up changing their minds on Trump and voted the way you wanted them too. It won't change much; it will have virtually no impact on whether Biden or Trump wins the election. I don't believe companies check this website, but I need to learn to stop talking politics when I'm tired (otherwise it could plausibly happen at work). Because of this, I'm asking the mods to ban this account.

Don't be a pussy. My workplace is 80% democrats and I am willing to talk politics with anyone who engages me.

Maybe if they start the conversation; but I dare you to go to one of your left wing co workers and tell them you don't want black Haitians in the US (or even more moderately; that poor people should starve to death to save the taxpayer money or that abortion should be banned to a woman that got an abortion).  I fucking dare you.  You easily could lose your job.  I've lost quite a few jobs for running my mouth on politics.

@GP

You think you changed some minds by talking politics with them because you got the last word, but that's because they were either in shock or they got tired.

How would your employer even find your account? You dont use real name as username, and your employer doesnt have access to your internet history.

You can just remember to not talk much while at work, or just avoid politics as topic, or just dont express any extreme view.

I did have an experience where people were fired for things they said online, but that was mostly because they used their real names and people who worked with them saw what they wrote.

My concern is I might let the internet accidentally spill onto real life.
