Their summer camp was this alphabet designed camp.
Today, when people go camping, they sleep in cabins; back in my day; we slept in tents, and sometimes, on the ground.
They do art and crafts, my generation rode dirt bikes, swam for 1600 meters at 6 AM, I biked from my house to summer camp for a merit badge (85 km) in 4 hours, if I got lost, then I was screwed. They claim racial diversity is a strength; but my type of diversity is the following representation:
- An axe
- A pocketknife
- A water bottle, to deal with the hot summer in late July. We didn't drink Lattes from Starbucks, but liters of god's energy drink; water.
- An SPL
- A bow and arrow
- A rifle
Their shots were COVID shots; our shots came out of the barrel of a shot gun.
They find their way around the city; we found our way around the woods with nothing but a map and a compass. We had to be patient; gen alpha doesn't have to be.
They collaborate; we compete.
There is a lot that you go through when you are an old school eagle scout.
Kids these days are too soft; they need to go to bootcamp; any man that cannot do 500 pushups in 24 hours is week. I prefer Kamala over Trump, but I'm not like these sissy entitled Manhattan brats that claim transwomen are women but can't define what a woman is; I just hate Jan 6.
