My rule is that whatever the jury says, I believe.

The jury found Kyle Rittenhouse innocent, I believe that.

The jury found Andrew Tate innocent, I believe that.

The jury found Donald Trump guilty, I believe that.

Nobody here was reviewing all of the facts and evidence about Trump's charges; the jury was.

I believed in innocent until proven guilty, but iff you are proven guilty by a jury of your peers, then you are guilty.

guilty of paying someone to keep quiet ?

even the prosecutor says that's not a crime

guilty of hiding information from voters ?

everyone running for office does that all the time


now, it would seem that using campaign contributions to pay someone to keep quiet might probably be a "misuse of funds"

but that's not what happened and apparently that would have been perfectly legal as well


the crime here is NOT using campaign contributions to pay someone to keep quiet

that's the conclusion here

I heard one of the charges was he stiffed his workers for one of his businesses.  He also committed adultery with a porn star while his wife was pregnant with their kid.  I heard he even committed the R word.  He has 34 felonies.  Maybe those are some of them.

Do you just believe something that was written by somebody?
Depends on what it is.  If it’s whether or not Person A did something everyone believes should be banned, then I trust the jury.  If it’s whether or not what Person A did should be legal, I tend to have seperate opinions on it from the trial (not always, but often).

nope

34 ledger entries that "should have" been marked as "campaign funds"

these are technically misdemeanors


but were "upgraded" to "felony"

because they were apparently intended to cover of the "crime" of "defrauding voters" (lying to voters)

Yes; they did the studying on the issue and I didn't.

The people on the jury got approved by both the prosecution and Trump's lawyers.

It shouldn't be, but I believe people that commit adultery while being at least 25 years of age while their wife is pregnant should be banned from political office.  Politicans need better morality.

That would mean death penalty would be the punishment for lying (or life imprisonment).  Pretty much every American has lied at some point in their life or will lie at some point in their life.

I strongly disagree with this belief.

What is your ideal penalty for murder?  Because whatever that is, if you were logically consistent, then you would have the penalty for lying be the same.

I think that's crazy.  Murder is worse than lying; hands down.
