Way back in 1974, Gene Wilder knew about the people who are Trump supporters

This movie came out 50 years ago. Way back then they knew about the rural people who would one day become the Trump base.

That's a classic scene, hilarious.

I just watched a documentary about Gene Wilder (highly recommend it), they showed that scene, and it made me think Trump, and that made it even funnier.

So I am not the only person to recognize that rural people are the MAGA MORON base of support for Trump.

Thanks to Democrats, that movie is one of the most censored ones ever.

If you think rural people are stupid, then does that include rural New Englanders?  Or are they exempt because they tend to go more left?

Be more direct: You think Trump supporters are stupid, not rural people.  I think the smartest people are the ones who think about beliefs before picking a side instead of just picking a party and turning their brain off.

Every New Englander is just 3 hours from Boston. They aren’t that rural.

There aren’t many people working the land in New England.
