Why doesnt Biden pardon his son?

Before the verdict, Mr Biden said he would not issue a pardon in the event of a guilty verdict."

Biden is going to lose elections anyway. What can he possibly lose if he pardons his son?

His son could face years in prison.

What did Biden’s son do?

His charge was he tried to get a gun while being a cocaine addict.

Should cocaine addicts be allowed to own guns?  I have to think about this.

I mean, he didnt murder anyone, he didnt rape anyone, he didnt assault anyone.

Its a bit strange not to pardon his own son, especially if his son gets like 5 years in prison.

Cocaine addicts might murder though and it’s a much higher risk than everyone else due to their dopamine levels being out of whack.

The Sons of presidents should not get special treatment.  If I was president and my son raped and murdered someone, then I would still want him put to death (and I would disown him).
