Was it really about debunking God's kingdom of heaven?
About the moon landing.

debunking God's kingdom of heaven
There is nothing to debunk there.
Anyone who believes that there is "an all good God" who "created a horrible world" simply lacks a working brain.

I don’t think it was about that at all. It was about beating the Soviets for some, some thought it would have a military advantage, and some had it about science and discovery.

@Best.Korea
You can make a case that it was about debunking that heaven .
-->
@Moozer325
That's a new one.
-->
@Mall
Is it?
-->
@Moozer325
To me yes.

@Mall
Buzz Aldrin, the second person to set foot on the Moon, celebrated the Christian rite of communion before doing so. The journey didn’t seem to debunk it for him…

@Mall
We had already been to dove before, so why have to go to the moon to prove anything if we “already did”.

No matter how high they supposedly went up into the heavens, they never made it to the kingdom of heaven. But it was a great attempt.

they never made it to the kingdom of heaven
Maybe they did but were sworn to secrecy. Who knows?

@cristo71
If we're talking about the holy scriptural kingdom of heaven, it's not possible.
-->
@Mall
If it is impossible to take a rocket to the kingdom of heaven, how could one debunk its existence via rocket travel?
-->
@cristo71
You know a lot of things today scientifically doable were looked at as impossible 1000 years ago .
-->
@Mall
But you are the one saying what’s impossible in post 13… and using the present tense…
-->
@cristo71
I never said anything that was or wasn't scientifically doable. I specifically said if we're talking about the holy scriptural kingdom of heaven, it's not possible.
In other words the holy scriptures don't teach what you said about those making into the Kingdom of heaven mentioned in the scriptures being sworn to secrecy.
On a serendipitous or fortuitous note, this is also comes to mind below.
The scriptures even teaches against making a swear or being sworn to anything by heaven .

@Mall
Ah, ok. When you claimed “it’s not possible,” you were leaving wide open what “it” was referring to and even your post 15 made “it” sound like traveling to heaven by rocket. You have now made “it” clear.

@Mall
Why is the Moon necessarily up?
-->
@cristo71
Very good.

@zedvictor4
According to perspective it would be necessitated upon that.
