Killed NP2: Earth - You are Revali, champion of the Rito. Rito are a race of birdlike people who can fly. You also have a keen sense of sight, so you are a 2x Cop. Two nights per game you visit one player and I will tell you if they are guilty or not. You win with the town.

I was roleblocked, so my action was unsuccesful. Couldnt protect Earth.

Well, we lost a cop and a lynch, so now I would even say our chances are greatly reduced.

We have 2 lynches remaining to hit 1 scum, and then we have 1 lynch remaining to hit final scum.

So 3 lynches left at best, and we have 4 targets, and now even austin might be unconfirmed depending on if he sent message to Earth.

That's odd... because I was also roleblocked last night. I guess I'll have to trust you in view of your role, but scum having multiple roleblockers would be very strange.

I targeted Earth last night, btw. He was mostly confirmed by virtue of his role, and the utility part of my role would allow me to redirect roleblocks or such off of him.

Did Moozer specifically say that you were roleblocked or did he say you were unsuccessful in using it? Because Earth died. You would be unsuccessful in delivering a message to him by virtue of the NK.

Well, this is basically equal to cc.

One of you guys is scum, so I guess now we can discuss which group to lynch and in what order.

Whiteflame, then Austin?

Savant, then joe?

I am now practically convinced that there are 2 scums among 4 of you, but it could also be possible that mod trolled us this game, especially with that "21 minutes left" out of nowhere.

So, two things before I explain what I did.

One, I think we shouldn’t jump to the conclusion that multiple people were roleblocked. Based on what BK said he was sent - that his action was unsuccessful (the same thing I received in my PM from Moozer) - we know that both of our efforts failed. Austin hasn’t framed it that way, but I’ll assume he received the same message. That could mean three RBs, but not necessarily. Austin’s role should only work on a living player. Earth died, so it didn’t work. Probably not an RB. I’m not sure what other actions could result in BK’s action being unsuccessful, but I know for a fact that I was RB’d.

And that leads me to two, my role is a bit different from what I claimed in DP1. I claimed BG in the hopes that scum would try to manipulate my role (e.g. redirect me). It’s not quite the same as a BG. The way it works, as Moozer has explained it to me, is by automatically redirecting the NK to me. I don’t move, I don’t pick a target. So that role can only be manipulated by RB, at least as far as I can tell based on my questions for Moozer.

So that leads me to believe there are likely two RBs that were used during the last NP, though it’s possible that BK’s role was otherwise manipulated to make it unsuccessful. If you’d prefer to lynch me to confirm all this, then I guess that’s going to happen because I’ve just revealed something that will necessarily make me the target of future RBs.

Sadly, we cant afford to lynch casey. We could have in dp1, but now we only have 2 lynches left.

Thus, we must lynch the most logical group first.

If its you and joe, or whiteflame and austin, maybe it doesnt even matter. I cant imagine joe being scum, so naturally scum between "whiteflame and austin" is most likely.

So to put it simply, this dp and next, we can either lynch whiteflame and austin, or savant and then whiteflame and austin.

If we didnt lose a lynch, we could have afforded to lynch casey as well. Now, due to game setup, and the cc which just happened, we have like 2 lynches and 5 targets. Austin isnt a good target since he still might confirm himself, which leaves 4: casey, whiteflame, savant, joe.

I dont think Joe can be scum, but if he is, then he played great.

Casey is high risk lynch, since we dont have logical group to lynch with her, so if she turns town, we are going to be shooting blind next dp, which will be our last dp then.

So, either Savant, then joe.

Either whiteflame, then austin.

Now both groups have cc. Whiteflame has basically said that he was roleblocked. Its a cc to me at least, since I dont find 2 roleblockers likely.

He said I was unsuccessful. I assumed a roleblock since I figured the other part of my role (the redirect negative actions) would still function even if Earth was the NK target. Anyway, it's a bit of a moot point, since he'd be dead regardless.

Alright... I can understand the logic for not claiming your real role. With that in mind, I could see it being plausible that scum were given extra ways to monkey with night actions. Still, that level of protection (combined with other protective roles claimed) makes me pretty uncomfortable.

Quite the opposite.

If town actually has 5 protective roles, and some even cc each other, it means town is already at a disadvantage ripping itself apart due to unusual setup.

Add to that 2 roleblockers, and town cant even win since all basics for lynch (cc, role confirm...) are taken away by these factors, and town is even misled into lynching itself by mere setup.

So I am gonna go with that its not a likely setup at all.

…so, I’m confounded by this response. You’re saying that it would have been beneficial for town for me to give my actual role instead of biding out roles that manipulate my movement? In what world is that the best way to act as a member of town with this role? In what world does it make sense for me to actively give out information that only serves to help scum determine what does and doesn’t affect my night action? Please, explain how it wouldn’t have been anti-town as hell to give away that my role could only be stopped by RB?

Also… sincerely, I don’t get this “pseudo-CC” nonsense. I guess we’re all just assuming that there can’t possibly have been two means by which scum could nullify night actions, then? That’s a “pseudo-CC” now? I understand that it’s unlikely, but a pseudo-CC it is not.
