Me and probably a dozen other people have made suggestions that didn't go into account. The argument is that it's too much to handle. So then have there be multiple developers. Find someone willing to help out and then they develop the website further.
There need to be multiple developers for this site if one developer is too overworked

My guess is that there isn't any work being done. It's a dead site, which is, to me, its charm. Perhaps you don't realize how difficult it is to find a website forum like this. Most people prefer X, Reddit or Facebook. That there is a few people and possibly their sock puppets here is fairly unusual, especially when it comes to debate. People don't want to debate they want a soapbox with a crowd around to slap them on the back and agree with them.

And this is why DARTers have higher IQs regardless of party affiliation.

I'd say a good cure to this is to quit basing one's topics on one's political views and the likes and more on rather abstract topics such as "Tacos are sandwiches".
And if I recall correctly, a court ruled that tacos can be sold as sandwiches. I forgot which one tho.

I guess this site was never meant to be popular. Debating takes some IQ and knowledge and persistence. I think its especially the pressure which is difficult for people to handle. Compare it to popular sites like YouTube and you will see that there is a lot more pressure here. YouTube mostly promotes a bit more relaxed environment. Like, comments in YouTube arent always ripping each other apart like debaters here do. And the main problem is that those who are into debate can get easier opponents on YouTube, so even those who are after easily winning debates wont likely prefer this site.

That makes sense, but it's inevitable that more people are going to come here and I think one website manager can't manage it all.

Are you volunteering?
No, all you people that don't pay shit to use the site need to pony up and support the site with money. Talk is cheap. You will spend more money to wipe your ass for a month than you will pay to be a paid subscriber.

I don’t have a computer science degree, although if I did, then I would consider it.

I'm a paying subscriber. No one has an excuse not to be. Especially daily users.
