I don't believe any of the following should be censored:

  1. Matt Walsh and his supporters
  2. "From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free" supporters
  3. Pedophilia defenders

There are very few people in G3; but G1 is legal in all 50 states; G2 is censored in all the anti BDS states.

Supporting BDS should be legal in every state.

There is a secret censorship which was created in the most brilliant way, yet so obvious that people dont notice it.

Apparently, free speech doesnt apply to internet.

Yet most of today's communication happens on internet.

Sites are free to censor any opinion they dislike. For example, YouTube will shut down any channel which defends pedophilia.

Even in real life, there is censorship (losing a job, being cancelled, losing friends...).

So yeah, I would say there is nothing "free" in free speech, because people have many ways to punish you for your speech.

Do you at any point make arguments? You're permanently stuck in the assertion, declaration of stance, disagreeing about categories stage.

I've always thought that not being able to yell FIRE! in a crowded movie theater because idiots who can't think for themselves would panic and kill one another trying to escape the madness was, well, stupid. Hate speach. How stupid. I hate hate speach but that goes without saying. Or is that thinking? It goes without thinking.

Maybe 100 years ago, people would panic if someone yelled fire in a crowded movie theater.

Today, people would be posing for selfies.

Maybe the modern prohibition would be to yell "Batman!" Or to misgender someone. An actual Batman or Tootsie film being the obvious exceptions.

Yeah, I can see how yelling "There are 2 genders!" could cause a stampede in a crowded movie theater.

That's fine, but stating any conservative opinion can be argued to be hate speech.  Prove me wrong with a counterexample.

All hate speech should be legal.

The 1st amendment applies to political speech only.

All conservative beliefs can be argued to be hate speech (if you think I'm wrong, then prove me wrong).  Should we ban all conservative speech?  No; that would be communist (not an exagerration).

i'm not sure a community centered social structure demands censorship

Socialism = Communism - censorship of conservative hate speech.

Communism = Socialism + censorship of conservative hate speech.

I can tolerate socialists; I despise communists.  There is a reason McCarthyism just went after communists, and not socialists.  America has had socialist presidential candidates before.  But we never had a communist candidate before as communism and communists are evil.

Then what is the difference between communism and socialism?

And I'm not liking my own comments; that's someone else.

You can add communism to that.
