If nobody votes on my debate with someone with 1300 elo, do I lose a lot of elo from a draw?

You dont lose any elo in a tie.

I know, because my elo didnt reduce or increase in any of the dozens of draws I had.

It would be unfair if it did.

However, win percentage is affected by a tie for some reason, which is something which in my opinion shouldnt happen,

Especially in cases where there are no votes.

If you debate 100 times, win 90 times and lose 10 times, your win percentage would be 90%.

If you debate 100 times, win 90 times, lose 5 times and draw 5 times, your win percentage would still be 90%.

Nonetheless, it isn't worth worrying about.

Actually, the site doesnt treat draw as a loss.

If you have 1 win and 1 draw, win rate is 75%, not 50%.

It seems that draw counts as half-loss.

You received an incomplete answer btw.

A change I made happen early on in the website is no-vote ties result in no elo change.

On the other hand, voted ties punish the higher elo person just less than a loss would.
