Praise the Lord!
Trump is closer to Satan than to Jesus.

Give Trumpet a hat and a cane. ....' there's no business like show business, of this I'm sure '.....

The beginning part was not funny to me, tbh. Mainly because it was historically inaccurate.
But it was funny when Trump came in and said "sound familiar?" That monologue had some good moments in it.

@Public-Choice
Oh good glad you found some humor there. I thought this was a recent vid, and there was joke about it being easter taking place at thanksgiving --- like in Trumpet doesnt know Sioux Falls is not in Iowa sort of thing--. Later I see the skit was in May so was easter.

@ebuc
Trump was played better by Baldwin, who could literally shoot someone on a movie set and get away with it.

@Greyparrot
Orange Gray Parrot speaks again without saying anything of significant relevance regarding the posted SNL skit.

@ebuc
Well, he was the Cigarette Smoking Man on The X-Files !
-->
@ebuc
I take it you don't think Baldwin was funny playing Trump....

@FLRW
Well, he was the Cigarette Smoking Man on The X-Files !
It makes sense, that OGP is off-spring from Trumpet, that Trumpet refues to lay claim too.
Stormy Daniels? Karen McDougal? The hispanic maid, uhh, no that was A. Schwarzenegger's child. H,mm? Could that latter be whom OGP has sprung forth from?
..." Arnold Schwarzenegger's 5 Kids: Everything to Know ".. At least two boys we know of and here they are on SNL, Are either of them OGP?

Why do you hate Baldwin so much?
New "Saturday Night Live" featured player James Austin Johnson has gone viral in recent years for his top-notch impression of former President Donald Trump. A 2020 Vanity Fair article called him "The best Trump impersonator of all."

@FLRW
Here he does Bob Dyalns phone on vibrate
.....Knock knockin on heavens door.....
No love for Baldwin. How the young eat the old.
James Austin Johnson's Trump impersonation is vastly superior to Alec Baldwin's Trump impersonation.
I consider Baldwin's Trump as a parody; Johnson's Trump as an impersonation.

Parodies are funny, impersonations are weird.
-->
@Greyparrot
Beyond his uncanny ability to mimic Trump’s accent and singular speech patterns, Johnson’s impersonation works so well because he’s able to replicate the insanity and, even more importantly, the inanity of the ex-president’s stream of consciousness ramblings.
-->
@FLRW
I hope he has a good therapist. I still like Baldwin for having the guts to replicate Trump's shooting someone. I doubt Johnson would be able to top that. Baldwin is the best method actor by a mile.
Don't forget to watch Adam Driver on SNL tomorrow night.

“SNL made history with the worst cold open ever because everyone knows there is absolutely no humor in the vile answers from the university presidents regarding their failure to condemn calls for the genocide of the Jewish people.
-->
@Greyparrot
The “Trump last supper” sketch was absolutely hilarious. In stark contrast, the college presidents on antisemitism cold open was just… cringe— so regrettable that I predict and fully expect Lorne Michael and company to issue a full apology about it in person on the next episode.

@Greyparrot
So you think Jesus wasn't the Messiah?
-->
@cristo71
The left is a tough crowd to cater to in the world of comedy.
-->
@FLRW
I think Trump humor after 8 years is like knock knock, or Dad jokes.
-->
@Greyparrot
It is indeed hard to know where to draw the line when you lack moral clarity.
Trump said when he becomes President he will shutdown SNL.
-->
@cristo71
Are you saying that Trump has moral clarity?
Thats funny. Tell that more.

@Best.Korea
You appear to suffer from BUTT

Are you a doctor for BUTT?
