Bump stocks are a tax on our country.  They reduce functionality of the rifle and waste our ammunition.  Selectfire rifles should be legalized for production before bumpstocks

oh I totally think they aren't worth the money,time and effort to install them, total gimmick imo, hence I'm not overly concerned with this.  But it calms the lemmings a bit.

the people who say bump stock bans will have no effect on people turning rifles into machine guns, sound like people who say a wall on the mexican border will have no effect. of course both measure will have an effect. it's like thinking a condom does nothing to prevent birth, to say otherwise.

don't you think if you had bump stocks everywhere and readily available, that all the mass shooters we see would have used them? the fact they dont shows they weren't going out of their way to but it's obvious they would have if it was right in front of them. maybe, just maybe, putting obstacles in front of people will hinder them. maybe, just maybe, having mass killing devices just laying around might affect people's behavior. 

they are less than $100 and other than what happened in Vegas I have not heard of anyone using them to kill anyone.  But again I would refer you to your favorite search engine and videos to see how easy the same thing can be accomplished with ordinary items most people already have.

Indescriminate destruction is a good distinction.  Full auto should have a different legal status.

Delving into the subjective I wouldn't call an m16 a mass killing device.  A punt gun, that is a device designed for mass killing.  Now, as I understand, full Auto has occasionally been useful for suppressive fire to hold/live for a short time when there is no one operating a machine gun.  Acknowledging the technological advancement, calling an m16 mass killing machine is feels tantamount to calling the rifles held at wounded knee a mass killing device.

I mean, why make it something it isn't?  If you actually believe what you are saying, and don't want people to be magically tempted to commit murder, maybe you shouldn't curse their property.
