Transhumanism

Since you are a christian, it will be near impossible to get you to understand why transhumanism is inevitable and if done properly, good. You probably think transhumanism is a satanic Illuminati agenda or something. Since I don't know how you will approach the subject I will save that kind of thing for later however, and instead focus on the basic premise of my argument.

1) Transhumanism is the only way humans can keep up with their own technology and stay relevant once AI becomes widespread.

2) The human mind fundamentally lacks certain capacities which prevent us from understanding the universe fully, the only way we can truly attain a unified field theory is if we evolve in very specific ways which allows us to think in ways no human can think. The basis for this is that there is a third type of thinking (possibly more) beyond subjective thought and scientific thought. The subjective being entirely meaningless and contrived and scientific thought only capable of understand physical properties and behaviour. What we are missing is the ability to understand what something "is" in it's very existential essence, rather than just knowing how we feel about it or it's physical behaviour.

3) The only way that Transhumanism can be bad is if your access to the technology is based on monetary wealth or political status, and thus it would lead to the rich/powerful becoming superhuman overlords and mankind being reduced to a slave race and then phased out and replaced with AI robots slaves. OR if we fail to put the proper thought, planning and research into it thus leading to unforeseen consequences.

4) Transhumanism is inevitable whether you like it or not, we are already developing primitive biotech that alters human physiology and implants which augment human capacities. All we need to worry about is changing society so that there isn't a class of superhuman overlords ruling over humanity (socialism/ RBE is the only way but that's for another debate).

I honestly thought I had 72 hours to form an argument and just saw an alert. My opponent can have an extra round to argue, I’ll take the disadvantage.
