Welcome to chess mafia! Chess is love, chess is life. Have fun!

Rules:

1. Don't copy-paste your role PM or pretend to do so.
2. Do not edit or delete posts.
3. Do not communicate outside of the thread or approved chats (cryptography counts).
4. Respect the site rules. Some banter is fine, but don't derail things with personal attacks.
5. Follow the spirit of the rules and the game.

Also, a modkill on town will end the DP immediately. Don't try it.

Setup Info:

1. The setup is role madness - there are no vanillas.
2. Many of the roles have been custom-made by mishmashing various other roles and mechanics.

3. There is a themesplit.
4. Mafia have not been given fakeclaims.

5. Majority voting is in effect.
6. 72 hour DP, 24 hour NP.

7. Setup is standard 2v7.

8. Be ready for swing.

Kind of. There are special roles besides your usual Mafia, Doctor, Cop. This is forum mafia so we look for behavioral reads off of posts, etc

tbh this is a little odd because it seems like a non sequitur to ask for a claim because I am not active. 
I would prefer that you don’t skate by like you always do. Locking in a claim early prevents that.

Unless Earth proceeds to drop out of the discussion and vanish into the background of this DP, I’m not onboard for pushing him. That being said, you do have a tendency to do that for long stretches, so keep in mind that it’ll make you a target for pushes like this if you do.

I'll suppose I'll be honest. I'm a castling, I can use my ability once to protect one piece (king), and make one piece's next moves untamperable (rook).

Generally not the best idea to reveal information without pressure, but this seems pretty townie to me. To be clear: can you target yourself with either of those (the protection or the immune from manipulation), or are you required to target someone else? Also, is it a one-time use? You should be very careful who you target with these.

Well because it locks you into a claim early. If you’re scum you’re going to be forced to claim either your real character (most likely) or a fake character (unlikely because CC). Then we can do theme analysis

I'm going to come right out and say this in D1, since revealing it after being investigated would just be suspicious. Despite winning with the town, my role has a "Miller" modifier, which means I will be shown as guilty if investigated by the cop.  Revealing the rest of my role would be pretty bad for the town, and I couldn't confirm it anyway. If it comes to revealing or being lynched, I'll reveal, but it would be far from ideal.
